Creating prayer rooms, altars and chapels.

When creating a space that soothes you, it is important to have a place that protects and feeds basic needs.  The concept of sanctifying any home begins by creating an area that is used strictly to enhance the real you.  The Self has been called many things; essence, soul, spirit, god self, and goddess just to name a few.  Regardless of what term you use to identify the “true self” the first step is to give your soul a designated area of practice and enlightenment.  Most homes have many designations of great spaces.  There is the dining room to eat food, the bedroom to sleep and the bathroom; well, you get the idea.  The next obvious question is do you have a prayer room?  If not, why not?  Learn how to create altars, prayer rooms, meditation closets and more.  Discover the importance of setting aside a place for your private conversations with the Source. The best location and who should use it.  We will discuss what should and should not be in these rooms, the importance of artifacts and the way it should look and feel.
