The Island of Earth

In these times of great environmental warnings, weather changes and Armageddon type

predictions it is hard to tell the real from the hype. The end of the Mayan Calendar has been

directly linked to global warming and other doomsday predictions but the concern for their

accuracy is in major debate. The emotions related to the 2012 date ranges from terrifying to

passiveness.

“ I think we are running out of time,” says L Thompson, an Ohio State University climate

researcher who contributed to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report. This

report written by hundreds of government officials and scientists states “that human actions have

caused a lot of the global warming”.

It’s no secret that many of the reports you read agree that unless we reduce carbon dioxide – a

green house gas and leading culprit of global warming- a number of scenarios could come true.

The biggest scenario being the melting of half the Greenland ice sheet resulting in a 13-foot

increase in sea levels washing away our coastlines. Liberals scoff at these reports saying this is a

political ploy to scare Americans. Others say that it isn’t green house gases at all but solar flares

that are causing the earth to heat up; and not the ice peeks of Greenland, but the Artic, that will

melt. While others say that the Earth will shift on its axis to cause the eruptions

changes. We are told that it is necessary to work together or humanity may destroy itself. The

Mayan prophecies of December 21, 2012 aren’t the end of the world at all, just the beginning of

the shift. The kind of life we live, our economy and society is going to change to a new type of

humanity - Humanity with more consciousness and more respect for the Mother Earth.”

We begin to get the idea that maybe there is something else going on here than just dire events. It

seems there is more attention to the Chicken Little predictions and the stories from Christian

literature about our final days than what will happen next. But we need to proceed, move ahead,

but knowing how to do that is a challenge. So what is the truth?

Make no mistake; earth changes are going to happen, that is inevitable because everything has a

natural rhythm and a natural cycle; the earth is no different. The earth has cycles of clearing

things that are not healthy and rejuvenating itself. Apparently it is necessary for the earth to

cleanse itself in order for it to evolve. The earth’s very survival could depend on these

cleansings, to make room for new and innovative expression. Since this is true there should be

no doubt as to the aliveness of our planet.

To find my own truth I compared maps of coastlines from three different sources. These sources

are from three completely different people who have no connection to each other and all

envisioned about the same time. The thing I find the most surprising is the consistency of the

maps showing coastlines of North America and the world. These maps of Earth changes were:

The DVD: An inconvenient Truth, first realized by Al gore in1990; Gordon Michael Scallion of

the Matrix Institute first realized his map in 1982, and Lori Toye of I Am America published her

maps in 1989.after receiving them in a vision in 1983. Whether they were based on science or

channeled in a dream the common thread was the erasing of the coastline and they are almost

identical.

These maps certainly do support the changes to the Earth. But let’s not ignore the effect to the

people of planet Earth because of this shift. If we do loose our coasts then we are talking about

millions of people migrating from the coast to inland areas. Look what happened after hurricane

Katrina there were thousands of displaced Americans – imagine trying to settle millions of

people.

Now, is the time to take control of your community and become not just a business owner but

spiritual humanitarian. If you have an alternative business or have a deep desire to help others

then you have what it takes to make a difference. I have always believed that the new-thought

public are really Earth Guides here to help people find their own path. In a crisis, and we are in

that state now, our jobs as guides is a greater one. It isn’t enough just to wish people well or to

pray for peace, it is action that is needed. We need to shift our thinking from negative to one of

progress. The difference between believing something and knowing something is doing. With

only six years or less until the shift begins full force, start now to come up with a plan to put

yourself as a leader and an adviser.

Connect

First start now, with gratitude, to reaffirm your own spiritual foundation. You can help no one if

you are not grounded in that inner connection between you and your true essence. Prepare for

the joyful awakening of consciousness; meditate, get excited about the coming to together of

Unity: one mind, one heart one God. Strengthen yourself lead by your example.

Support:

Open your heart. During this time there can be a lot of fear. Be more available. Let others know

that you are there to discuss their personal questions. Even if a person is not directly affected by

a weather change, or event, the shock can still be difficult on them. Look at how everyone was

touched by 911.

Inform

Teach others the philosophies of why we even have Earth changes. Discuss ways to cut down on

green house gas and other parts of the evolutionary process. Offer a multitude of topics that

cover up-coming events. The more information, the more power you give to people.

Pull Together:

Create a community, a group of businesses that have skills to help others. In times of need

pulling together resources is imperative for positive outcome. Think of the simple needs like: a

contractor, seamstress, nurse, electrician, welder, and auto mechanic.

This is a special moment in world history. We can’t ignore that the changes of the earth are

happening but we don’t have to fear them either. Our planet will be renewed, it will survive and

we will too right along with it. Now is the time to awaken and take action. Everyone is needed.

Since you are alive during this special time you have an important purpose. We have the greatest

opportunity for growth and to show what we are really made of. Get ready to live history.
